Riteish Deshmukh, Pulkit Samrat launch a 'Bangistan' fast-food joint in Mumbai

Foodies Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat, lead actors of the upcoming satire Bangistan, were seen digging into burgers and kebabs at the launch of the fast-food joint FcDonalds at Andheri on Saturday.

The duo inaugurated a franchise outlet of the store, which is also shown in their film, and later gave away burgers to people, especially kids, who had gathered around to take a look at the new place. Talking about the significance of the fast-food joint in the film, Riteish said, “It’s the place where Al-Kaam Tamam has meetings to discuss their plans.People enter here with guns and bazookas. It is a way of life in the northern part of Bangistan.”

“The store is supposed to remain open over the weekend or till stocks last,” said Pulkit, who was visibly kicked about the mascot Fondle FcDonald sitting outside the eatery. The space, which has been leased by the actors, will serve various vegetarian and non-vegetarian quick bites.
